Mr. Green is a Managing Director of Windcrofte Capital. In this capacity, he leads the firm’s investment and financing activities in commercial and residential real estate, lodging and hospitality, gaming and casinos, and life settlements. Furthermore, he is responsible for the capital raising activities of Windcrofte Capital and managing its network of institutional and high net worth investment partners including: (i) $500 million Hong Kong and New York City based Chinese investment fund that is investing in urban commercial and residential real estate as well as casinos and gaming companies in the United States; (ii) $150 million European fund based in Oslo, Norway that is investing in multi-unit residential apartment and condominium properties in Florida; and, (iii) $3.0 billion environmental investment fund based in Chicago that is investing in environmental companies and green projects that are focused on agriculture, water, air and energy.  Over his 30 year career in private equity, he has completed over $5.0 billion of transactions and financings in the United States, Asia and Europe using innovative and complex financing strategies and capital structures that involve combinations of equity, debt, and derivatives. Previous to Windcrofte Capital, Mr. Green held a number of partner-level and senior executive positions in several of the leading real estate and gaming companies. As the Executive Vice President of Portman Holdings, he financed and managed a $2.5 billion global real estate portfolio of trophy office buildings, iconic hotels, and renowned mixed use properties in the United States and Asia.  As a Partner and the Chief Investment and Operating Officer at Metropolis, he financed and developed a $268 million portfolio of luxury rental and condominium properties in Washington D.C.  As a Partner and the Chief Investment and Financial Officer at LandGrant Corporation, he financed and developed a $400 million portfolio of retail shopping centers, apartment complexes, and urban mixed use properties in California, Nevada, and Arizona.  In the gaming and casino industry, Mr. Green has advised and arranged capital for a variety of commercial and Native American casinos.

M. Dakota Forgione, Managing Director

Ms. Forgione has a strong background in the energy and infrastructure sectors where she has been active both as a corporate executive and principal.  She founded and built one of the largest Medical Waste companies in New York State which she then sold to a public company.    Ms. Forgione has coordinated development and financing structures for a wide range  of projects including co-generation,  heat recovery and alternative energy facilities both in North and South America.

She lead the strategic acquisition and roll up of one of the largest environmental response companies on the West Coast, for Foss Maritime, a 1.3 billion dollar company.  She then provided strategic consulting services for a variety of fortune 500 companies who were seeking to acquire energy and alternative energy assets.

Ms. Forgione is a project finance specialist focusing on establishing structured financial products for the private equity and institutional capital markets encompassing a wide range of development projects.  She has structured traditional debt and equity transactions as well as innovative lease platforms and alternative asset financing's for projects ranging in size from 20-400 million USD,

Ms. Forgione attended the State University of New York at Buffalo for her undergraduate studies and then participated in an accelerated Graduate program in Environment Policy.

Nils Trosterud, Managing Director

Mr. Trosterud manages Windcrofte's investing and financing activities in Europe.  He has an extensive background in the real estate and media industries in Europe.  In real estate, he has worked as an advisor and principal with many of Europe's largest property developers and owners marketing large residential and commercial real estate properties with total value in excess of $500 million  In media, Mr. Trosterud is the founding partner of Globus Network LLC which is a media and publishing company serving major global publishing corporations in the United States, Europe, and Asia. In addition to his experience in real estate and media, he has provided strategic and marketing consulting services for a variety of Fortune 500 companies and organizations including Coca-Cola, Ford Motor Company, Fiat Automobiles and The Red Cross.

Mr. Trosterud received his Examn Philosophicum in sociology from the University of Oslo, Norway and attended the Norwegian Business School in Oslo, Norway.
